Possible postal strike: What members need to know

We’re closely monitoring the labour dispute at Canada Post and the potential for another postal strike. We understand how important it is to send and receive information without delay. Here’s how we’re handling key documents and payments:

Leaving employment packages and buyback information

These documents will be uploaded to your Online Services account. You’ll receive an email notification when they’re ready. Paper copies will only be mailed if you request one.

If you’re not registered for Online Services or only use a work email, your package will be sent by mail.

Refund cheques

All refund cheques are being processed and will be issued within 2 to 3 weeks.

Pensioner cheques

Pension payments by cheque will continue to be mailed through Canada Post. We encourage you to contact us to set up direct deposit or make other arrangements.

If your pension is deposited directly into your bank account, a mail disruption will not affect your payments.

Stay connected

If you haven’t already, please register for Online Services using a personal (non-work) email. This helps you stay informed even if you change jobs or leave your CSSF employer.

To register, contact us at 204.946.3200 or askus@cssb.mb.ca to request your registration key.
