Direct deposit changes

Pension payments are made on the second last business day of each month.

To update your direct deposit account, please make your request at least a few weeks in advance of deposit date.

How to change direct deposit information

You can update your direct deposit information one of two ways:

  1. VOID cheque (PIN and signature required)
  2. Direct Deposit Change Form (PIN and signature required)

Here is a sample cheque to help you find the right information.

For members living outside Canada, we work with Western Union to send payments to your international bank account. To set up or change current deposit information, complete the Foreign Direct Deposit Enrolment Form. You can’t make this change with Online Services.

Keep in mind:

  • Your pension will be converted to your bank’s local currency.
  • Pension amounts can change because of fluctuations in exchange rates.
  • Payments are typically received within five business days after the Canadian payment date.
  • You are responsible for any fees.
