The CSSB is phasing in changes to improve the security and member experience for our Online Services portal. Along with a new look to our log in page, the changes to Online Services will affect how existing members log in and new members register. Later this January, only your primary email can be used to log in to Online Services. No secondary emails or historical usernames can be used. Later in 2024 we will require multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access Online Services. Once MFA is activated, you’ll need to enter a one-time verification code the CSSB will send by either text, phone call, or email each time you log in.

We are pleased to announce that the Superannuation and Insurance Liaison Committee (SILC) has appointed two employee representatives to the Civil Service Superannuation Board. The CSSB will be implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA) for the CSSB member portal - Online Services. Make sure you’re ready for MFA by updating your account with at least one phone number (landline or cell). Your employer and union take part in collective bargaining every few years. Depending on how negotiations progress, there may be a work stoppage. Your union may initiate a strike or your employer may initiate a lockout. If this happens, aspects of your pension will be affected.
The Board approved a 1.57% cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) based on the 2022 change in the Canadian Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 6.32%. The COLA will be included in the July 2023 pension payments to eligible pension recipients.
